# Water Mouth (水口)

> The Water Mouth is where water leaves a site or the bright hall in front of a house, measured as a degree from the centre of the home. Classical texts prefer a Water Mouth that is closed and winding, guarded by mounds or trees so energy does not drain away quickly.

## Explanation

Its position is read as a mountain on the compass and compared with the sitting and facing; many water methods start their calculation from it.

One home can be read at several ranges: the major river of the region, the terrain within a few kilometres, and the street right outside. These are the Grand, Middle and Small scales.
